In the unpredictable ebb and flow of life, there are moments that shake us to our very core. Events unfold that unsettle us, pains that pierce through our hearts, thoughts that spiral into a maze of overthinking, and feelings so profound they threaten to consume our very soul.
Suddenly, we find ourselves submerged in darkness. We grapple with its weight, trying to understand the whys and the hows, only to drown in assumptions that lack validation or actionable insights. People, whom we thought we knew, show facets we never anticipated. That vast, limitless world out there, where possibilities seem endless, now feels so incredibly small and suffocating.
To fight in the darkness is a challenge; to even comprehend the very notion of fighting while blindfolded by pain and confusion feels impossible. Vulnerability takes hold, amplifying our fragility. There’s a silent plea for time to heal, a hope that things might mend themselves.
In those moments of despair, I turn to Allah. With a heart heavy and off-balance, I pray. For when I attempt to mend what’s broken by my hands, I only seem to shatter it further. My judgment falters, decisions lack clarity, and I inadvertently intensify the chaos. So, in my weakness, I find strength in surrender. I ask Allah, seeking guidance, yearning for His wisdom, trusting that He will pave a way out of this consuming darkness.
